I was told that the very unfriendly elderly lady is a member of the executive floor. It's a real shame if you're not a good role model for your employees. Cake was okay, but friendliness should only be a star in the industry.

A very old bakery and pastry shop in Rhöndorf. The selection of cakes is large and the prices are comparable to the competition. The cheesecake e.g. Unfortunately, its consistency is more like a pudding than a cheesecake. Unfortunately there is a point deduction for this.

The men's cake is a poem. Unsurpassed. Also available in small packs to take away. At the moment there is a little booth with a café and cake for outside. Oh yes, the Christstollen is sent all over the world.

We liked it and tasted good, both the soups, as well as coffee and cake. And even though many people had the same idea on Saturday, we were served quickly. The Corona regulations were followed exactly.

Cake delicious. Latte macchiato too. The young lady who served the tables was friendly, but the older lady behind the cake counter was an absolute nightmare. Unfriendly, incompetent, impatient even though nothing was going on. Rather bad for business. We would like to come back, but please be a little friendlier soon.

Very bad service. Wait 20 minutes before being told the cake needs to be ordered inside. The (bad) coffee was then brought while we were waiting in the cake line. Not again.

Was here again after a few years to shop for cake. At first glance everything is the same as before. The service is distant or unfriendly, maybe the daughter of the older lady who served there earlier? The ancient cash register with a crank is still there, but is no longer used; next to it the modern competition. The selection is not as great as it used to be, but 4 pieces of cake 8.80, where else can you get that? Unfortunately, the two pieces of cheesecake were dry and tasteless. Fit for the operation. .

Traditional house with weaknesses Knowing that this company is known far beyond the borders of Königswinter, I have to report that our experience was mixed. We had a place in the dining room on the ground floor. Constant coming and going in the rather narrow room lacked comfort. We had to choose the cake ourselves in the sales room. For this, however, I stood in the ice-cold hall in the queue for 20 minutes, together with customers who only bought cakes and took them with me. Only a saleswoman could not control the rush. My cake couldn't really convince, it tasted extremely sweet and a little dry. Too bad I expected a lot more. The service was extremely professional and friendly. One noticed the great routine of the ladies. The prices were very low, for two cappuccinos and two pieces of cake under € 10. But the quality should still be right.
